Before

Lupita L. Zuniga

July 24, 2004  —  January 28, 2026

Lupita was more than a name. She was a daughter, a mother, a sister, and someone deeply loved — full of dreams, full of life, with so much of her journey still ahead of her.

In loving memory of Lupita L. Zuniga, July 24 2004 to January 28 2026
The Day Everything Changed

Lupita's life was lost in the Delta-Mendota Canal, leaving her family searching for answers no one could give them in time.

The Promise

In Lupita's memory, we made a promise: to serve families facing unimaginable loss, to help bring their loved ones home, and to make sure no family ever feels alone in their darkest moments.

Continuing The Mission

What The Promise Became

That promise became a small, volunteer-run team of trained first responders — search, rescue, and dive recovery specialists who serve California families and the agencies that work alongside them. Ask any of them why, separately, and they say nearly the same thing: so that no family has to feel like they're facing it alone.

Lupita's legacy lives on in every family we serve, every life we honor, and every mission we carry out with love, dignity, faith, and purpose.
